PURPOSE, MAIN PARAMETERS

The subject of the "Installation of a new HBF filters in the Paskov treatment plant" project was the installation of a new hyperbaric filter made by Andritz, A.G., Graz, Austria. The reason was the necessity to strengthen the sludge circuit of the treatment plant with the aim to prevent leakage of coal sludge to outdoor settlement tanks. The filter should be originally installed in 1994 during the implementation of the existing 3 pieces but in the end, it has not been performed due to financial reasons.

The goal of the project was to strengthen the current filtration capacity of the treatment plant by 50 t of coal sludge per hour. In addition to the output, the guaranteed parameter of the project was the humidity of the resulting product which was not allowed to exceed 17%.
