PURPOSE

The subject of the contract was the elaboration of a Feasibility Study based on the interest of the Mongolian partner in the design of technology for the processing of coking coal mined in the locality of Tavan Tolgoi. The study is the basic material for the construction of a complex treatment plant. Based on negotiations with a Mongolian partner, it was decided that the treatment complex would be located in the city of Čoir. Part of the study was the design of the optimal technology with regard to the environmental impact on the surrounding landscape. Comprehensive evaluation of transport options, especially rail and road transport, for the transport of partial technological units to the place of implementation.

The study was supported by the Czech Development Agency and the B2B program.
